The British 8th Army comprised of men from around the British Commonwealth - Australians, New Zealanders, South Africans, Indians and Polish troops all joining their British counterparts in the Western Desert. Facing the combined threats of Italian & German forces, searing temperatures and the inhospitable terrain they emerged victorious.
This boxed set gives you all you need to start playing with the forces of the British Commonwealth in the scorching, dust-filled desert of North Africa and beyond.
Providing a strong core of infantry, support teams and the ubiquitous Bren Carrier transports this set is perfect for replaying legendary battles such as El Alamein and Tobruk. Will your Desert Rats prevail against the combined fascist forces of Italy and Germany?
British 8th Army Starter Army contains:
- 36 x British 8th Army infantry (plastic)
- 1 x 8th Army 6-pdr anti-tank gun (metal)
- 1 x 8th Army 25-pdr light artillery (metal)
- 1 x 8th Army Vickers MMG team (metal)
- 1 x 8th Army 3" medium mortar team (metal)
- 2 x Bren carrier (plastic) with 8th Army passengers (metal)
- Assembly and painting instructions, stat cards, full-colour decal sheets, vehicle damage markers, and plastic bases
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

''Lightly Played (LP)'
Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

''Moderately Played (MP)'
Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '

Heavily Played condition cards exhibit signs of heavy wear. Heavily Played condition cards may include cards that have significant creasing, folding, severe water damage, heavy whitening, heavy border wear, and /or tearing. '
