Sportsmanship/Rules
During this event the Frontline Gaming Code of Conduct will be in full effect. Our TO's will be going around making sure all games are being played to a level in which we feel is appropriate to keep this a fun and enjoyable event.
Hard dice down will be in effect. Any players who have either not finished their game or continue to roll dice will have their current round points deducted by 20 which will influence the final results for that round.
Slow play penalties will also be in effect. - To help avoid players purposely dragging out games to alter the final scores, slow play rules will be in full effect. Players who are found deliberately slow playing will be deducted 20 points at the end of each round in which they have been found to have slow played.
In the event that a game does not reach Turn 5 by the end of the 2.5 hours a TO will be over to make sure points are allocated fairly depending on the current status of the game being played.
All score sheets must be brought to the TO table for checking and submission.
Army Requirements
  • Painting
We hope to see all armies painted to a tabletop standard for this event. With this in mind we will be using the Games Workshop GT book standard for painting requirements.
This means that any army that does not meet these standards will not receive the 10 points for having a painted force.
Armies will be Judged for best painting during the breaks both days so make sure to have your army on display with a small name tag with your army after your first game so we can go over them without any hassle or interruptions.
  • Conversions
Any conversions or alternative models must be arranged with the TO prior to the event. Conversions that are brought to the event and not discussed prior will be removed from the table and will not be permitted for use for the remainder of the event. Proxies will not be accepted unless discussed prior to the event day. This needs to be done prior to September 5th.
As per most events, models are required to have the appropriate weapon modelled. Anyone caught using models with the wrong weapon loadout will have it removed from the table.
Presentation/Awards
All awards and prizes will be dependent on final numbers in attendance. The following prizes are in addition to the prizes for placing 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
  • Objective Secured (Pure Battle Points score)
  • Banner Lord (Best Painted)
  • Reverse First (Wooden Spoon)
  • Warrior of Renown (Best Sports)
