General rules and restrictions :

We have generally stolen this pack from the 2018 Cancon players pack, thanks to Peter for letting us do so 

Up to 1000pts may be spent on your army 

Your list must be limited to15 order dice

Lists may be chosen from any generic infantry platoon selectors from the available Bolt Action Army book.

Units from Theatre and Campaign books can be used when it is noted that the unit can be used with an Army book selector.  Other lists may be permitted but permission must be sought before list submission.

Tank Platoons may not be used.

Theatre Lists may not be used. 

Ethopian, Hungarian, and 1st Free French PDFs can be used.

Special Characters, Cameraman and 47 Marine Commando PDFs cannot be used

Models must be painted.  Undercoat is not enough.  

Models must be WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).  Counts as models may be used but it is best to check this with the tournament organisers before the event.

Any brand of 28mm WWII models may be used. 

In any scenario where both players roll for preliminary bombardment roll only 1 dice. On a +2 both players get a bombardment, on a 1 neither player gets one.

No optional rules (including Warplanes) can be used.  

No force can contain more than 1 artillery or air observer.  

No Force can contain more than 1 Flamethrower vehicle or 1 manpacked FT per platoon.

Only VETERAN Panzer IV Ausf G, H, J get the Tiger Fear special rule.

Grudge Matches can be organised in the first round.

If you have a regular opponent/friend/releative you would prefer to not meet in round one then you can envoke the Blood Rule.  You will not play round one and a bias will be shown in subsequent rounds but no guarantees.                                      

      Sportsmanship : It is up to the TO´s discretion.  Warnings and points deductions may be used if deemed necessary by the TO.  At past events Bolt Action players have played as adults with the right spirit. Adults do not cheat, obstinately argue a resolved point, refuse to answer questions about their list or rules, "accidently shuffle further than allowed", scope up dice before giving their opponent a chance to see the results.  Come on you know what we mean.

      Copies of your army list must be emailed to events@thehallofheroes.com.au prior to the 4th of November. 

What you should bring on the weeked:

1) Yourself and your army (obvious really but you would be surprised)

2) Your own order dice and templates must be bought, none will be supplied. 

3) The Bolt Action core rulebook, the armies book your army is chosen from, the latest official errata/FAQ, and a copy of any special rules used by your force

4) Tape measure that has inch increments, a lot of 6 sided dice and glue (for repairs).

5) Three objectives measuring approximately 40mm-60mm

6) At least 2 copies of the army list for the army you are using in the battles, that matches the one you handed in prior to the event as listed above.



Our Tournament will consist of 3 games against 3 different opponents using the Swiss pairing system.  Table Top TO will be used to record results and for round pairing.

Registration : 9am

Game One 19:30am – 12:00pm 

Game Two 12:30pm – 3:00pm 

Game Three 3:30pm – 6:00pm 

Scoring per game

15pts for a win

10pts for a draw 

5pts for a loss

1pt for fielding a painted army

1pt for killing your opponents highest ranked officer 

1pt for Destroying your opponents highest cost unit

1pt for having an infantry unit within 12inches of your opponents table edge. 

1pt for winning at least one round of hand to hand combat
